Katina earned her Certified Industrial Hygiene Safety Professional (CIHSP) and Certified Safety Manager-Environmental (CSM-E) designations in October 2023. She has over a decade of experience in human resources and has worked in the safety industry since 2019, serving as a health and safety consultant on the Slater Fire and Devils Fire in Northern California. Recently, she has earned her US Army Corps of Engineers EM 385-1-1 40-hour safety certificate to compliment her numerous FEMA, ICS, and NIMS training.
Sharalyn earned the Pesticide Safety Specialist (PSS) and Vector Safety Specialist (VSS) designations in September 2023. She is a first responder with the California Tribal Emergency Response & Relief Agency (CAL TERRA) and their Director of Training, with 25 years of experience in decontamination of contagious diseases (MRSA), water, mold, and fire remediation, as well as a biohazard cleanup trainer and supervisor dealing in decomposition and raw sewage. She has worked on the hazardous waste cleanup for the Tubbs and Coffey Park fires in Northern California.
Brandon earned the Pesticide Safety Specialist (PSS) designation in September 2023 and is working towards his Certified Vegetation Safety Professional-(CVSP). He is an ISA and State of Connecticut-certified arborist with CA QAC, CA QAL, and ICS/NIMS certifications and currently works for HotShot Arborcare in California. Brandon worked under contract on the Camp Fire in Paradise, California, as well as other natural and man-made disasters nationwide.
MK has completed his Qualified Emergency Manager in Indian Country (QEM-IC) and Certified Safety Director (CSD) as of October 2023. He currently works for ACRT Pacific in California as their Safety Manager and Tribal Liaison. MK is also the Chief Officer of Emergency Management at CAL TERRA.
